Why Blockwise exists
Most crypto education falls into one of two traps: it either assumes you already know what a private key is, or it tries to sell you something. Tutorials skip the fundamentals. YouTube channels chase price action. Influencers recommend tokens they hold.
The result is that millions of people enter crypto without understanding custody, without knowing what a liquidation is, without knowing how to verify a transaction. and they pay for it. Scams, blown accounts, lost funds, and tax surprises are almost always the consequence of missing foundational knowledge, not bad luck.
Blockwise was built to fill that gap. Not to tell you what to buy. Not to predict markets. To explain how things actually work so you can make your own decisions with real understanding behind them.
How we write
Every lesson cites primary references: IRS notices, Ethereum documentation, Uniswap whitepapers, GSMA reports. We don't editorialize. We explain what is actually true and link you to the source.
We will never ask for your seed phrase, private key, or wallet password. No lesson on Blockwise will ever direct you to connect your wallet to an unfamiliar site. Every module on DeFi, P2P, and wallets leads with risk.
Blockwise teaches mechanics, not predictions. You will not find price targets, investment recommendations, or market calls here. Understanding how something works is different from being told what to do with your money.
Lessons are written to be read, not skimmed. Each one is structured around a single clear question, uses plain language, and ends with a practical exercise. Reading is slower than video, and more durable.
Who it's for
Blockwise is for anyone who wants to understand crypto before they touch it, or who already touched it and realized they skipped some important steps.
The P2P and mobile money modules are written with African markets specifically in mind, covering M-Pesa, MTN MoMo, Orange Money, and the dispute processes on Binance P2P and other platforms. If you trade in markets where mobile money is the dominant payment rail, this is the curriculum for you.
The safety modules assume you have never heard the word "seed phrase" before. The DeFi modules assume you know how a basic wallet works. The investing modules assume you are managing real money and want to do it thoughtfully.
